You’ve been reading the Word for years.
It’s time to understand it.
Deeper Roots is where women who are serious about understanding their Bible come to study — not just be taught.
Where the whole Bible connects, and we see it together.

You’ve been in church most of your life. You read your Bible. Some mornings, you make it to the Word before the house wakes up. And when you don’t, the guilt starts early.
You’re disciplined and committed.
But a lot of the tools you’ve been handed were built for consumption. They give you something to open, maybe you feel something after engaging with them, then you close them. But they don’t give you the thread — the thing that helps you understand how it all connects, why a story in Numbers opens up something in Romans, what you’re actually reading when you read the whole Bible together.
And they don’t put you in a room with women who are asking the same questions and not settling for easy answers.
Sunday mornings give you fellowship. That part’s real. But the deeper conversation about what the Word actually says, how it holds together from Genesis to Revelation, why the parts you may have always glossed over actually matter — that’s harder to find there.
So you keep carrying the questions. Quietly.
That’s what Deeper Roots was built for.
“We can all study the Bible. There’s so many different platforms where you can study the Bible. But there’s not enough platforms where you can relate with sisters — that we can share with each other and we can say, ‘I’m not alone.’ … We see each other, we talk to each other. There’s no other platform like this.”
Glenda — Abide Inner Circle MemberA place to actually study.
A gathering — that’s what we call it, because that’s what it is: a place you come to, not content you consume — where you read, watch, and study the Word with structure and a framework that makes the whole Bible connect, and with me doing the work right along with you.
The centerpiece of that framework is the 12 tribes.
From Genesis to Revelation, the 12 tribes of Israel run through the entire story of scripture. If you don’t understand them, you’ll miss one of the most important threads of the whole Bible. I know this firsthand — because for years, I used to skip right over the genealogies. The long lists of names. Dan. Asher. Issachar. My eyes would land on them and I’d move on, assuming they weren’t for me. When I finally understood how key these 12 people were from beginning to end, everything changed in the way I studied the Word. Things began to make sense. Words started to make sense — all because I finally knew what everything was pointing to and where everything was coming from.
That’s the reading key I bring into everything I teach inside Deeper Roots.
The 12 Tribes Study is the flagship study inside the membership — an ongoing group study where you move through it with sisters who are right there in it with you. It doesn’t exist on YouTube. It doesn’t exist anywhere else.
The methodology that holds everything together is read, watch, study. You come to the Word first. My study comes alongside your reading. Then you go deeper in your own study. The goal is for you to bring what we are reading or studying together — and for the room to help you go further with it than you would on your own.
I’ll be the first to tell you I’m not a scholar. I haven’t been to seminary, though I’ve wanted to. What I am is a student of the Word who teaches what I’m learning through personal study, community, and intentional resources I’ve come to know and love. When I call myself a student teacher, that’s the most honest description of how this works — and it’s why the women who show up here feel like they can actually be here.
“One of the things that drew me to your platform was that you say, ‘We don’t have to be scholars to be students of the Word.’ That made me feel like I can be in this space — because it can be intimidating when you’re learning and growing and you’re like, ‘Well, I don’t know that verse.’ But when you said, ‘We are all students of the Word’ — I was like…This here! I need to plug into this.”

The Deeper Roots Podcast — 2x/month
These aren’t the episodes on the public feed. This is conversation that goes deeper than anything I release on YouTube — and it lives only inside the membership. Put it on in the car. Listen on your lunch break. Take it with you.
Live Gatherings — 2x/month
Twice a month, we gather live. 2nd and 4th Thursday, 7:00 p.m. ET. You’re not watching a replay of someone else’s gathering — unless you want to. You’re in the room, able to ask questions, hear what your sisters are working through, and do this together in real time. Recordings available if life gets in the way.
Weekly Deeper Roots Posts
Every week inside the membership, I post conversation, study content, and reflection that doesn’t go anywhere else. This is the weekly presence that keeps the study moving between gatherings.
Two Digital Resources per Month
Resources built for women who are doing the work — tools that help you go deeper into the text, not just around it.
The 12 Tribes Group Study — Flagship
Exclusive to Abide Inner Circle Members. This is the study that anchors everything. An ongoing group study running inside the membership — you’re moving through it alongside sisters who are studying the same passage, asking the same questions, and building the same understanding. It exists nowhere else. If you want this study, this is the only place to get it.
Companion Study Guides
Study resources designed to travel alongside the gathering — open the guide, open your Bible, and go deeper into what you’re reading and have more intentional time in the Word. One 12 Tribes resource and one companion study guide each month.
“There is a desire to go deeper together in the Word. I felt the Iron sharpens Iron.”
Carla — Abide Inner Circle Member“I love how Rachel dives deep into the Word and how the ladies engage and fellowship with each other.”
Jerrie — Abide Inner Circle MemberWhy I Show Up
I’m not an ordained pastor. I don’t have a seminary degree — not that I never will get one — and for a long time, I thought that disqualified me. But for as long as I can remember, I’ve been a lover of the Word. So now I’ve embraced my purpose and assignment as a Bible teacher and writer. And I found that the lack of “official credentials” made me more honest. Honest about how I actually learn. Honest about my sources. I show the commentaries I’m using. I say “I don’t know” on camera when I don’t know. I’m practically being a student teacher in front of you… because that’s what I am.
I built Deeper Roots because I needed it first. I needed a place where the study was structured enough to actually go somewhere, where a framework helped the whole thing make sense, and where I wasn’t doing it alone. I started teaching what I was learning — not because I had arrived, but because I had found something worth sharing while I was still finding it.
“It’s like sitting down with a friend when you teach the books of the Bible.”
Maxine — Thessalonians Companion Study Guide“I finally feel equipped to comprehend what I’m reading.”
Glenda — Summer in the Psalms“That helped me in my day to day life to know what psalms to go to for gratitude or wisdom.”
Karen — Summer in the PsalmsA few months from now, you open your Bible, and something is different.
The passage you’re reading connects to something you studied last month. You can explain why. You’re in a conversation with someone going through something hard, and you know which part of the story speaks to it — not just because you remember the verse, but because you understand what the verse is doing in the larger narrative.
You’re not just reading the Bible. You’re starting to understand it well enough to share it in context and with greater clarity.
You came in as a faithful reader. You’re becoming a student of the Word. And somewhere in there — maybe before you even see it coming — you’ll realize you’ve started becoming a student teacher. Teaching what you’re learning. Sharing what you’ve studied. Helping someone else find the thread.
That’s where this goes.
“Before I found this community I was spiritually dead and didn’t prioritize time to study the word of God. Now I’m consistent and have a much deeper and closer walk with God. I’ve never studied the word in this way.”
C. Latrese — Abide Inner Circle Member“I decided not to be a spectator and step out by faith.”

In Case You’re Thinking…
I already have church.
Good. Deeper Roots isn’t a replacement for your local church — it’s what happens after Sunday. The fellowship at church is real, and I wouldn’t ask you to trade it for anything. But the deeper scripture conversation — the kind where you can sit with the Old Testament and the New Testament together, where you can ask why something in one book matters to everything that comes after it — that’s what we’re doing here. The two work together.
I don’t have time.
I hear this a lot, and I want to be honest with you: if you’re waiting for the season where you have more time, that season may not come the way you’re imagining it. What I’ve tried to build inside Deeper Roots is something that fits into the pockets of time you actually have. The podcast goes with you. The live gatherings are twice a month. The study moves at a real pace. Time is real — so is what happens when you protect even a little of it for this.
I’m not deep enough to be here.
This is exactly why I call myself a student teacher. I haven’t been to seminary. I didn’t come into this already knowing — I came in asking the same questions you’re asking right now. You don’t have to be a scholar to be a student of the Word. If you’re willing to show up and study, you belong here.
Is this just more content I won’t use?
That’s a fair question and I’m glad you’re asking it. Deeper Roots isn’t built like content. It’s built like a gathering — a place you come to do something, not just watch something. The 12 Tribes Study, the live gatherings, the companion study guides — these are designed to put you in the work. If you show up, you’ll use it. That part is up to you, and I trust you with it.
What if I fall behind?
Just catch back up! The membership is built around rhythm, not performance. If you miss a week, you come back. If you miss a month, you come back. There’s no grade. There’s just the Word, and women who are committed to it, and the standing invitation to keep going.
I know what it’s like to be in church your whole life and still feel like the Bible is a book you carry but don’t fully understand. I’ve been there. I’ve been in rooms where someone quoted a passage, and I nodded along and thought — I should know that by now.
I grew up around people who knew the Word deeply. My dad studied the Bible all day long. I had every reason to understand it, and for a long time, I still didn’t — not really. I was reading it. I just didn’t have the structure to see how it all held together.
When I finally found that structure — when the 12 tribes started to make sense, and the whole Bible started to connect — I knew I had to share it. Not because I had arrived. Because I was still in it, and I had found something worth bringing other people into while I was still finding my way through.
Years ago I read a book by Beth Moore and she said, “If God shows you something or teaches you something and you can’t wait to share it, you might be a teacher!” I remember running to my husband and reading it to him and saying, this is me. I think a seed of being a student teacher was watered at that moment.
That’s what Deeper Roots is. A gathering for women who are serious about understanding their Bible. A place to read, watch, and study with sisters who are doing the same work. A student teacher alongside you who will never pretend I’m further along than I am.
You just have to be willing to be a student.
